Product Manager – CCTV / Electronic Security

BGW Technologies (part of the BGW Group of Companies) is currently seeking a Product Manager in Melbourne or Sydney.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining trusting relationships with Supplier
  • Staying up to date with Supplier’s product road maps
  • Negotiating pricing with Suppliers
  • Maintaining company relevant product intranet & Website
  • Launching new products through the branch network
  • Being the expert on the products and supporting the branch sales and technical staff
  • Assisting with inventory forecasting
  • Assisting with large system designs and tenders
  • Training branch staff on the products
  • Attend and assisting with Industry exhibitions, functions and events
  • Learning and continually developing product knowledge for BGWT’s range of CCTV surveillance access control and security systems products


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • A people person with  the ability to form quality relationships
  • Strong experience in CCTV with knowledge of Access Control and relevant IT knowledge.
  • Proven track record in product management
  • A highly technical and hands on understanding of CCTV and an interest in technology.
  • A positive can do attitude, willingness to learn and dedication.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a team.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Previous experience in electronic security industry is essential.
